One thing I'd really like to see in some of the forum posts is game strategies. So here is my general strategy for this game. I usually tend to go for either the explosion type or the type that cuts through everything. I've found that these do both the most damage, and are pretty easy to use compared to some of the other bullets. I also prefer the default controls over the special controls mainly because they are very systematic and easy to manage.
